Construction Progress Update

Exciting changes are underway at the former ABC cinema site as McAleer & Rushe Contracts UK Ltd, working on behalf of Thrive Living by Retirement Villages Group, continue the redevelopment project. The site will feature 167 apartments, retail units, and communal spaces across four residential blocks.

Since our last newsletter, we’ve made significant strides on site:

Progress Highlights:

•  Concrete frame to blocks B&D complete.
• Concrete frame to Block A&C Cast to L4.
• Scaffold erection to Block B&D complete.
• Window Install and brickwork commence on Block D.
• SFS and External boarding commenced to Block B

Next Steps:

• Concrete works on going to Blocks A&C.
• Façade works to continue around Block D & Block B.
• Scaffold erection to commence on Block C.
• Internal fit out works to commence on Block D.
• The new agreed TMP on Church road will be implemented.
• The site cabins will be removed with the Welfare moving inside the building.
